The is the only podcast I’ve ever left a review for. Thanks Sam and Shaan for showing up every week with fresh ideas and stories. I love how candid the show is and how you both like to speculate and share numbers.
I’m leaving this review because of Sam’s pitch explaining why people should leave reviews. It wasn’t the generic “it helps the pod” pitch, he kept it real and made the pitch interesting.
That basically sums up the whole podcast. More real and more interesting than whatever else you listen to.

Brainstorming Gold

One of the only pods I look forward to anymore. Each ep is different to keep it fresh but they still always deliver on the theme. Love the banter between Sam and Shawn as well as their curated group of guests.
Some of their speculative valuations seem high but I don’t have as much context as they might so I can’t really say.

Great and FUN podcast for entrepreneurs
I listen to a lot of podcasts about startups and entrepreneurship in general and I have to say this is now easily my favorite one. Sam and Shaan are a constant stream of ideas and provide HUGE VALUE for free in each episode. I have recommended this podcast to more friends than any other podcast. My favorite part is how they make listening to business ideas really fun. Well done guys!

Casual approach to complex topics
I’ve been listening for a little more than 6 months and have really enjoyed how Shaan and Sam approach business and investing. The causal back and forth, diving deeper into each other’s thought processes about the episode’s topic allows me to critically think about the subject matter. Other podcasts are informationally based with no real dive into the why, but more the how. Which is why I am really enjoying My First Million. Keep up the great work!
