Alright, so I’m not Billy Mays (RIP Billy 🙏🏻), but this podcast is as about unbelievable as OxiClean.
As someone who loves listening to podcasts and even hosted one myself for 55 episodes, I can honestly say this is the most engaging, entertaining and ‘can’t miss’ show I’ve ever listened to.
If you’re interested in business building, startups or investing, there is no better show. I honestly wish they recorded it daily.
If you’re on the fence, give it 10 minutes and your life will be changed forever.

The Rob Dyrdek Pod changed me!
My favorite part about Sam and Shaan are that when someone comes across them that truly amazes them - they let them know. They really articulated pretty much what everyone in the audience was thinking which is, “how freaking impressive is Rob Dyrdek?” My jaw was on the floor how (1) happy the guy seems (2) business savvy he is (3) much emphasis he puts on spending time with his family and living a balanced life. I learned a lot here bout how life shouldn’t be these big swings of extreme highs, and lows. Or atleast it doesn’t have to be. You can optimize for living the best day everyday. Wonderful pod guys 🏆 Can’t wait for more

One of the best sources of entrepreneur storytelling
I’m a fellow entrepreneur who owns a few technology businesses, and I find this My first million podcast very refreshing. You learn about man different niche businesses, and the story telling of the hosts and their guests is fascinating.
I especially enjoyed hearing Rob Dyrdek wild ride in entrepreneurship. You rarely hear about how people in the entertainment industry are fairing.
Keep uncovering those niche nuggets out there!

Best show with down to earth hosts

Top 3 in Entrepreneur podcasts
As a fan and daily listener to entrepreneurial podcasts, this always lands in my top 3. Their candid interviews with high profile people make it feel very relatable. They don’t hold back on asking hard and maybe sometimes uncomfortable questions to their guests, essentially speaking the mind of their audience. Their content and insight is applicable in real time and is great for creativity and business idea generation.

A hang out with business buddies
Coming from a town where none of my close friends are entrepreneurs, I needed to inject more business and forward-thinking idea-centric conversations into my routine to make sure I wasn’t just operating in a bubble of “yeah businesses is tough” and “that’s cool man, good luck.” Sam and Shaan do a great job of balancing the super helpful deep dives into trends with poignant interviews and brainstorming of business ideas that really get the “how could I apply that to my business?” Juices flowing. Great job guys. Now if you could do like a daily hour, that would be greatttt. Seriously can’t get enough.

Tough decisions…
I’ve struggled with this decision for quite a while. Do I simply buy 3-4 rental homes a year, retire early, and enjoy my time with my family or do I try and build the next google?
This podcast does not help me make the “easier” choice. Awesome pod, makes the wheels turn in overdrive. Also love Sam’s “small town” mindset regarding “simple” boring business as there is very true value that most silicone valley folks don’t get. Keep killin it y’all.

If I could inject this podcast straight into my jugular, I would. Do yourself a favor. Get into your car right now, pull onto the nearest freeway, and just drive. Put this podcast on and don’t stop driving until you’ve listened to every single episode. When you’ve listened to them all, pull your car off the road and walk to the nearest town. Not Just For Silicon Valley Bro’s
I’m not sure how I found this podcast, but I am so glad I did! The sparky back-and-forth between Shaan and Sam is thought provoking and entertaining. It’s like spending time with friends you knew were smart but who, it turns out, are (unexpectedly) cool too. I’m not an entrepreneur yet, but I never miss an episode and the chance to be inspired. One potential improvement: More women. Big thumbs up.

This podcast always gets me hyped to work smarter and harder! What I love most about it is that the ideas are practical! They won’t turn you into the next Bezos, but that’s not the point. It’s My First Million, not Billion for a reason!!

My first million may have a tacky name but it’s a must listen each week. Shaan and Sam do an amazing job sharing their perspectives on business, tech, and other cool ideas. They have very smart people as guests who are experts in a wide variety of subjects. The episode with Rob Dyrdek was mind blowing. Such great content and ideas each week! It’s in my top 5 of podcasts I listen to each week religiously.

Always gives me something to think about
I feel like a broken record talking to my wife about how something from this podcast was really interesting. On top of that interviews from CEOs and other start up folks are great and give huge in-site into starting a business. This is my #1 ideas podcast to listen to.

More than just business ideas.
My favorite podcast by a mile. It’s advertised as a business idea show, there are plenty of ideas and more importantly ideas/conversations that spark better ideas. I am currently working on my own startup so if it was just ideas I wouldn’t listen, it’s really an education and breakdown of how different businesses work, how they acquire customers, what they value, the tricks and hidden inefficiencies they take advantage of, the way they butter their biscuits and how buttery that biscuit is. Freakin listen!! Whether you’re searching for an idea to run with, currently running with one, or just need to be entertained for an hour, it’s worth your ear.
